The Year In Fic
So to wrap things up (ish) because with my typical fashionablness I refuse to do the whole sob sob weep weep "ZOMG IT'S A NEW YEAR" until at least a week after. (Mostly I'm still cracked out from sleep deprivation.)
Anyway.
The Year In Fic:

Well anyway, I have to say that my style has a evolved a bit this year. I'd like to say that I've gotten a bit better at characterization and voice, though dialogue is still a downfall. I've also had some interesting interludes with *gasp* SECOND PERSON AND PRESENT TENSE. Gosh those whores. ;). Oddly enough as I got more depressed, common teenage symptom--take no notice, the more I abandoned real fiction for fanfic. I reckon this is my least prolific year as a real writer and maybe my second most as an HP freak.
The Fics:
Come On Petunia
Summary: After a lifetime of avoiding magic she can never quite escape it
Thoughts: Written pre DH in one of those whimmy things. Has my typical non-directness, voice, and general confusion.
Warnings: Old people angst. (minimal)
Down The Rabbit Hole
Summary: It's a universally acknowledged fact that when faced with tragedy people turn in rather than out. George remembers.
Thoughts: Written, again on a whim right before going to see Becoming Jane w/ Viko and Daniel. Least reviewed, most favorited. Weird people.
Warnings: Infant-speak. General confusion.
The AU
Thoughts: Together they tie with Reg In Winter as my favorite pieces this year. I really like both characters and I'm having a hard time stopping myself from writing more in that universe.

Summary: Once, just once, she'd like to see the monster win...
Thoughts: Written for a self-writing challenge in ten minutes, edited for another 30.
Warnings: Present tense.

Summary: He has a gift for words, and...other things.
Thoughts: Started off being my least favorite of all pieces, wound up almost being my favorite. A few additions and I feel like it is more Lucius than anything else I've done.

Summary: The tale of Regulus Black
Thoughts: Seem to return to him a lot. Written (in 3000+) words during Nano. MY REVIEWER SAID IT REMINDED THEM OF MURAKAMI. IT MADE ME SO HAPPY YOU HAVE NO IDEA. ok I'll stop now. :)!!!
