Here's a scenario: Your in a 7-11. A guy who checks out before you walks out the door with a bag full of stuff. As he's walking to his car he hears a voice behind him. He turns around and walks over to a guy sitting in the car a few spots over from his. As you're leaving the 7-11 you notice the guy that walked out of 7-11 has given his bag of stuff to the guy in the car and in return the guy in the car has given him a piece of paper. The guy, now with just a piece of paper, is walking to the pay phones. What do you suppose transpired here?
