It's my birthday... and I gots lots of presents!
Lish gave me a chocolate spoon (yum!), and popcorn scratch and sniff stickers and a fortune teller.
Jen gave me the most beautiful paper photo frame from Hands of Hope with a picture of Jen, Megs and me from Em's 21st.
Megs gave me an order to bake choccy chip biscuits for training last night, which I filled.
Mum and Dad gave me a box of kitchen equipment (two metal peelers, a mandolin, a grater and kitchen scissors) and a copy of Maggie Beer's Harvest (it's so pretty! And full of interesting advice regarding seasonal foods. Not quite as downright essential as Margaret Fulton's Encyclopedia of Cooking, the Australian go-to book for when someone hands you two kilos of fennel, a bag of chestnuts and a rabbit and looks at you hopefully - Margaret will tell you how to cook each of them, what they're best for, half a dozen iconic, foolproof recipes involving them and how to serve them - but similar in style and split into seasons).
James gave me Wicked, the book.
Sarah gave me a mug with Starry Night, the Van Gogh, printed on it.
Nana's giving me my present Easter weekend.
