Reading Tangled Destinies
OMG this fic!
I love them. I love them all. I want to draw little hearts around Jim and Spock and Amanda and Sarek and Chris. Amanda is busy being badass and awesome, and the boys are developing two very amusing bromances.
Plus, Sarek telling Amanda why he loves her! SO FRICKING CUTE. Also, the Vulcan snark level in this is EPIC.
In other news, I went to Galaxy today. They're having a 3 for 2 sale on Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars books, I assume in time for Aussiecon. So. Tempted. My own copies of the Adventures of Nadia, Anne and Sax? Yes plz! (Okay, I know there are other characters. Like Arkady. And Vlad, Ursula and Marina. Look, I'm ranking characters on coolness factor here, not by "how many pages KSR devotes to their whiny lives". Note that, John, Frank and Maya!)
Instead I left with a copy of New Voyages 2 (have no idea why it was in stock, and not even over in the second hand section. V. odd, but wasn't complaining), Treasure of Green Knowe (only need a copy of Stones now!) and the new DWJ book. And, after spending my Amazon gift voucher yesterday on three Elinor Brent-Dyers (Thanks Jack! Three new EBDs means I now own copies of almost all the Tyrol books), I am feeling an embarrassment of riches.
