The Morning the Sky Caught Fire
Have I mentioned I love living in Australia? We're pretty much the only country on the planet with enough loose Ferric Oxide in the topsoil to produce this effect this morning.
I woke up, before the sun was even up, to a red glow everywhere. It's faded as the sun's started to rise (not that you'd notice the sun under the heavy, heavy fog blanketing everything) and the sky's now a sort of peachy gold colour.
I'm actually now very interested in being close to a volcano spewing dust particles. Well, it should be a spectacular sunset tonight, as I doubt it will have all finished settling by then.
