Hang outs in Toronto
Got to see the Moonies today and go browsing the fabric stores etc. in Toronto. Didn't buy anything except for some manga, but it was good to get a taste of what Toronto had to offer in the cosplay department, since I'll probably be there more often as soon as K-W gets it's Go Bus terminal. Yay!!
Korean BBQ was awesome. So yummy! Must do again! And Kiyo can make me more of her squid.
Didn't find a wig for Rosiel while there, so I went with my ebay option, and so far I am very happy with the seller. (Answered my question about shipping within an hour, gives away free stuff with purchases, and free shipping!) Lots of positive feedback, as well as can be expected for ebay when you sell things in the thousands. *crosses fingers for awesome wig*
I shall be making the pattern for the costume shortly, and picking up my fabric as well. I didn't think anything in Toronto was going to beat what I had already found at Len's Mill. Perfect colour, weight, texture, and stiffness for $3.99/yd? Done.
