I started working for Asterand last Monday. So far, I'm just homogenizing tissue, but once I get my Hepatitis B vaccination records in, I should be able to start other, less mind numbing tasks. It's only a temporary job, scheduled to end around the end of June when the company loses one of it's clients, but I may be hired on depending on if there is still a need afterwords. The other people in the lab seem decent enough. The drive is a bit much, as it pretty much to Wayne State University, but I'm staying at Constantina's under the pretense of cat sitting, so it's only about a 50 minute drive rather than a 75 minute drive.
Constantina is off to Europe for a month and a half. My job started at an awkward time, so I couldn't do a lot of the things I had planned (namely, a bonfire with friends and lots of cuddle time), but she was pretty busy dealing with graduation and packing anyways.
