I need to start getting out to Eryndor practices again. I went into Adrian yesterday, showed up at Militia practice, and waited until 12:30. Only one other person was there, so I went to the Amtgard practice in the back of the park. I'm probably not playing that again any time soon. When there wasn't magic, it was pretty fun. Hell, it was Dagorhir. Once magic got thrown in, it sucked. I got to stand in place for over 3 minutes because somebody threw a bag of cloth and maybe foam or cotton stuffing at me, not allowed to fight or be fought. Not my idea of a fun little magic rule. I got poison ivy between my toes when chasing someone down in the woods. I wasn't expecting woods fighting and thus only had sandals. I managed to load and shoot a bow with my bare feet. It took a while, was off the field, the shot was off by 15 degrees, and I forgot about wearing a skirt with only boxers on underneath, so at least one person got a show, but hell, it was still pretty funny.
Dannielle and I are having our one year anniversary next Saturday. I still need to pick up the stuff to make her present. We're thinking about going to a Ren Fest next weekend for something special.
