Ok folks with multiple children. This goes out to you! I'm typing this more as a rant than anything but here goes... Liam is driving us nuts! Aine is just about 3 weeks old and Liam left and has been replaced with a bratty defiant boy that I'd like to take back to the store. I'm fully aware that this is totally normal and he'll get better but right

Zaggy, its a phase....he will get over it but it sounds like you guys are doing all the right stuff for now. When the baby is seeping try to give him some extra love and reassurance.....helping with the baby is great as well.....that really helped with Bella.....it will get better but don't be afraid to scold him either when he crosses that line, you don't want to baby him...he may resort back to baby type stuff. We had some of the same issues with Bella but it went more smoothly than I though.....I was constantly referring to her as the big awesome big sister etc.....she helped with meals and helped with baby stuff, getting me diapers and such.
Also when people gave the baby new gifts its always a good train of thought to mention that maybe they should bring something along for Liam.....that helps a ton...so when my mom or nat's mom sent clothes for Ava they always sent something for Bella.....it helped.
I would just ignore him when he throws fits, its all for attention. Once the baby can sit up and and starts giggling her at her adorable brother it will get easier...for now you kinda have to go with it.
Is he in preschool?

He is not in preschool. Ivwas going to sign him up for one but the funding for it from the state didn't go through so they cancelled it. There was a program but it was for kids with slight delays and he 'tested out' of it. I really wish he could have gone because I think he'd really enjoy it. Although now I'm not sure how he'd behave! Lol
