Playing catch-up

It's been gently brought to my attention that I need to update the world on how my life is going. XD

I know, I should update my blog even when I'm busy or nothing is happening, but lately, I haven't been able to.
First off; my carpal tunnel is acting up really badly with the change in season. My palms and wrists ache unceasingly, and I can no longer grip things (like a mouse or a pencil0 without pain in my hands and cramping in my fingers after about 5 minutes (if that long.) Most mornings I wake up with little control or feeling in my arms up to my elbows (except pain, that's always there :p). Holding a book, a fork, even the baby has become something that needs to be re-thought on a basic level. I have these ugly braces that help my wrists, but they agrivate the muscels in my palms causing intesnce cramping in my hands. So, I'm not doing as much as I was even two months ago. Even so, I am doing SOME stuff, but there is the added problem of KIDS! =D
Summer vacation means Tim is home all day, which makes getting a hold of the computer at all during the day pretty impossible. When I do get to it, I am enmeshed in attempting to encode Jura Tripper.

Yes, I finally accomplished getting my Jura Tripper raw episodes on to DVD. I've been able to rip them to the computer, but converting them from vob to avi or mpeg is a little difficult. My computer is a bit behind the times, so finding codecs and drivers that work together, not to mention a program that doesn't freeze up my computer completely is tough.

I have a test run of episode 1, the best I've been able to get so far. The sound is jumpy in places, and I'm still pulling my hair to get it worked out.

That's what I'm up to lately.

Miko will be going to kindergarten this year. I had to pull strings and beg a bit, but I managed to get her in the same school as Tim. (here in Ohio there's a lottery system for choosing the school in the local district that your kid goes to, regardless of who you pay taxes for.)

Suzi is crawling and pulling herslef up now, Her hair is still blonde, and eyes are still blue. more's the pity. I'd hoped at least one of these little monkeys would take after Cam.

Tim will be in 3rd grade. He's fully potty trained now, and loved to write little books. We went to a teppanyaki resturant last week, and he's convinced he wants to be a teppanyaki chef when he grows up. Too bad he doesn't look the least bit asian. =P

Financially we're holding up. Bills never end, as everyone knows, but we're doing our best to keep everything paid up as nearly as on time as possible.

Well, that's about all right now, and my arms hurt, so I'm stopping. Anyone who wants more details can natch reach me at zagadgita@gmail.com
