.... my mother fainted after I told her Near was having a baby. Our maid said she should come to in a bit.
I went to my father's grave site earlier today. I told him about Near and our baby, and how I've been discharged from the military. I can't decide whether he would be proud or not.
Marie's making lunch at the moment, and after my mother wakes up again I'm going to be returning home, but it's peaceful here. It's one of the scheduled rain afternoons, and it should start in a few minutes.
