Oh joy! A new obsession!
Well, not really, since I've never been one for comic books and I'm highly unlikely to start now.
But, we went to "The Avengers" midnight showing on Friday and oh dear lord - Hawkeye. Give me a man with a bow and arrows and I'll give you my heart. :-) I wasn't quite sold on Legolas, other than the kick-ass skills, but Agent Barton I can totally get behind! Or you know, however he'd like. ;-)
Otherwise, my fannish/geeky life has taken a backseat to work. Even my hubby's life has been hectic and only catching up on sleep yesterday allowed him to cram in everything he did this weekend! Which for both of us included working Sunday. I could probably eek out a bit more energy if I worked-out/exercised more but even so, that *would* be my spare time. And I've just never loved any activity enough, sadly.
We are both eating better, though. I haven't lost any weight but I always love not gaining any, either! :-) I imagine the minute I start putting a bit of effort into exercise, it'll start to drop. We are doing a modified (includes some milk and rice products) version of the Paleo Diet. It seems to work for hubby well, he's been losing weight. He plays sports, though, so go figure.
I know I need some energy though, so I can get more done in a given day. Some days I fly around the house/office like a woman possessed and other days I can't seem to get out of 2nd gear. If I whine about walking when it's so hot out will you promise to slap me?! ;-)
