Sci-Fi meeting - Spread the News/Merlin
I had my monthly sci-fi meeting tonight and since a couple folks, including a nice girl that just came for the first time who is more like me :-), mentioned having watched the finale I did my fannish duty and mentioned how there was a great, epic scene missing!! Go me. :D I sent off a link, too. Because honestly - how can I *not* share-the-joy?!
It was fun, we always have a good time together. I'm so glad I found a bunch of "normal" sci-fi people! Not that anyone's normal, but you know. The job-having, not stereotypical kind. :) 'Tis nice. And yes, Sarah, you can quote me on that. *hug*
So, our next gathering we'll actually be playing vid games, and then on the 23rd we're gathering to watch LOTR and play the drinking game. Without the drinking for Ho-Yay! Else we'd you know - have alcohol poisoning after the first movie. :D Oh, and I've been nick-named "Morgan-Le-Fan-Fic. LOL Thanks, cookie, I'm so totally keeping that!
