Music covers the whole hall as models walk the runway. Tonight is a rare event; Xiah is performing live for the fashion show. Other than his concerts and a few appearances on music chart shows people will not be able to see him anywhere. A lot of businessmen have offered a lot of money for him to appear on their events but his management Tri-Angle always refuses. There were charity events that he attends to but those are unpaid and purely voluntary. Xiah is an enigma to the music industry.
A tall and handsome man now walk the runway, his tan skin illuminates seductively under the stage lights. The cameras flashes doubled, he is another enigma. An enigma of the fashion industry- Max Changmin. Along with Xiah he can rarely be seen on other events. He came with Xiah at an fund raising event - in which they are rumored to have donated half a million dollars each for the foundation for children- he only talked with the children and the nuns. When a few media people came near he politely said no and walked away. A lot of fan girls are waiting for him to appear on shows. He is mostly overseas, usually in Paris or Japan. Tickets for tonight’s show are on premium prices because of those two. And the media is only allowed inside if they have invitation.
Yoochun and Jaejoong are backstage watching Changmin on the runway and Junsu on the elevated stage. “Changmin seems a bit spacy.” Jaejoong joked as he drinks his champagne.
“He’s not on the mood. We both know that as much as we both know the reason.” Yoochun answered as he pours himself another glass.
“At least Junsu is well.” Jaejoong tried to change the topic.
“Singing is his own high. He never leaves us in peace if we don’t listen to him sing when we were younger.” Yoochun finished his drink and stood up and went to the door. “Stay here, I’ll check if they’re done.”
“No, just wait for dad. After Junsu finish his son he’ll be here looking for you.” Jaejoong placed his glass on the table and stood up to stop his cousin by his arm.
“Uncle is taking too long.” Yoochun was about to open the door when someone knocked. It is KangTa.
“Hey boys, how are our youngest doing?” KangTa looked at the screen and saw Junsu. “Aw I missed Minnie?”
“You’re getting old dad. Did the stairs kept your joints in slow motion?” Jaejoong joked at his father.
“Heck no. They were trying to bargain for a cheaper price that’s why it took longer.” KangTa took Yoochun’s glass and poured himself some champagne.
“You agreed?” Yoochun asked, settling himself on a chair near the door.
“No. Your father will hang me if I did. Those are premium grade ones mind you. ” KangTa settled himself beside his son.
Yoochun is about to ask where his father is when Changmin barged in and took Jaejoong’s glass from his hand then grabbed the bottle beside KangTa, poured a full glass and drank it on one go.
“That’s not water!” Jaejoong complained.
Changmin huffed. Obviously still angry. “I know.”
“What’s wrong Minnie?” KangTa asked his youngest.
“Jae-hyung and Chun-hyung still let those media people in! I thought this is by invite? Why were they invited?!” Changmin complained about the elders to their dad.
“All shows have media people Minnie.” KangTa is a bit lost on why Changmin is upset.
“He’s not talking about all of them in general uncle.” Yoochun supplied.
“Just that f**** b*** dad.” Changmin let out a few more curse.
“Hey! No cursing.” He tried to stop their youngest from letting out more profanities.
“He was in the airport and this reporter followed him around until the condo in Cheongdam. Really hit his nerves. ” Yoochun explained more. KangTa now understands. Changmin really hate people tailing him, that’s why he enjoys Japan more than here.
“But I found out too late so I’ve already sent the invites when Changmin asked me not to send their network any.” Jaejoong explained himself. “Sorry Min.”
Before Changmin can whine more on Jaejoong Junsu entered the room. “Hey post guy, the designers are going crazy looking for you.” He called out to Changmin.
“Aish! Hyung!” Changmin looked at Jaejoong with his I don’t wanna do it hyung look.
“We both know you’re more professional than that Min.” Jaejoong calmly reminded him.
“Fine.” Changmin left for the next set of clothes.
