You know, normally I don't complain about the bs that's pulled with Pokemon. Are there disappointments? Sure, but I don't usually complain. Mew is one of my favorites, yet I've never had a legitimate one. Oh well ( Read more... )

the thing that bothered me about a lot of pokemon is that they just didn't seem to try, and i expected they were mocking the people shelling out for it and i didn't really appreciate it. yes the original 150 had some of those too but it's been on the rise.

pokemon mystery dungeon has actually started me liking a whole lot of newer gen pokemon because they got more personality and use and were more developed but some i can only ever see as ugly and poorly thought out gimmicks which disappoints me because there's been some incredible creativity in pokemon where gimmicks or themes have been successfully mixed with coolness, and well thought out and it just seems a waste. admittedly churning out x amount each time isn't easy and i probably couldn't manage it and be creative but there are some that are just plain sad. anyway, rants aside if they can't do better i wish they'd hire people that would or stop producing them until they have enough decent pokemon. things like the personalities and inbuilt effects once i got used to them were a great addition so there's more to the games than just new pokemon but i wish they'd try harder and make having a team you like more possible.

Right now I'm not planning to get B/W unless a friend of mine will breed a Zorua for me. I dislike or downright hate most of the new pokemon as it is, so taking away one I really wanted on my team was just the last straw.

I wish they would focus on making new games interesting instead of just adding more and more pokemon.
