So, Kas asked... told me to read her NaNo and comment, so I thought "While I'm here, I'll post".
I'm also doing NaNo this year. I'm writing a piece set in the GRIM AND DARK GRIM AND DARK GRIM AND DARK future of Warhammer 40K. I may or may not post bits of it up here. With luck, I'll find a way to fit Angry Marines into it.
Of more important note:
My dad, having recovered from chemotherapy very well, has since noticed a lack of feeling in his legs, and is barely able to walk. After more testing, including a spinal tap, they have discovered that Lymphoma cells are running riot in his spinal fluid, killing nerve endings. He's going to need about six months of chemotherapy again, this time via a bloody great needle to the spine. He hates needles. I hope he'll be okay.
Also, we have a pet dog: Jimmy. He's a wonderful dog, a little more than a year old, and very spoiled. He practically panics when I leave the house, and loves to always stay near his people. He's good at demolishing toys (from squeaky things to those thick rope toys), and likes sleeping on the beds of people, keeping their legs warm.
