For posterity and hilarity's sake, I give you my April Fool's Day joke that I was trying to play on Suzanne (one of the PhDs) but ended up playing on Em, because she never listens. And is incredibly gullible. But we love her anyway.

ninja: and there were a bunch of fire trucks parked in front of Pless
ninja: and I asked someone what was going on, and they said there was a huge fire on the 6th floor
emily: WHAT
emily: WHAT!
ninja: and pretty much everything there is toast, and half the floor collapsed down onto the 5th floor
emily: it's miss fine and miss lally
ninja: yeah and saltzman, that whore
ninja: so...I guess this means we don't have to go to work tomorrow?
emily: wait
emily: so the building burnt down?
ninja: well not the whole building
ninja: this was earlier, like around 11, and they still weren't sure of all the damage. but people were saying that basically all of 6 is gone
ninja: they're thinking electrical fire
emily: oh my god
emily: ALL OF OUR DATA?!
emily: this could be a very very bad thing
ninja: I guess we can hope that the cabinets saved some of it
emily: hahah true
emily: were they fire safe cabnets?
ninja: but the computers...

ninja: and Shirley will die if we all end up trying to do work over in Kimball
