Art of Suicide got into a film festival in LA, which is pretty cool. Even if that's the end of the road for the film, at least i feel the hard work had a dignifed exit!
I'm really tired today- i just spent an hour tidying my room- coz i've taken the last 2 days off and have done nothing but eat jammie dodgers and watch old episodes of the amazing race. It's been nice.
I auditioned for Romeo and Juliet the other day. It seemed to go really well, and I wanted it bad. They even asked me how i would feel about playing Mercutio, as opposed to Tybalt who i auditioned for. However, I've still not heard from them and rehearsals start on Monday. I think i'll give it until 12 noon tomororow but i'm pretty sure another one bites the dust.
The theatre company I was sueing have finally caved in! They gave me £300 yesterday, and told me that i shall have a further £250 by tomorrow. They paid me 200 whilst i was on tour...so i will have got 750 for the summer. It's still obviously not good, and i may consider sueing them now for not paying the national minimum wage..but it's certainly better then when i walked away with nothing!
If anyone is looking for a great tv show to watch and have never checked it out- look no further then The Wire. It's fantastic.
Talking of fantastic, i'm also loving the Sarah Jane adventures which is so much better then crappy torchwood ever was! Hopefully Torchwood will follow suit next year.
And finally, I went to see a fantastic production of Merchant Of Venice last night at the Arcola Theatre. Excellent stuff.
