Not a huge lot to say. Tour is moving along well. I have still had enough and cannot wait to get home but at the same time, I have more then resigned myself to just enjoy it and get on with it. We found out on Friday that it has been extended by another week, so i still have 3 weeks before i'll be home.
Lots to look forward to when i get home. Christian has finally quit GAP, which means that hes looking for new and exciting stuff and I just have a good feeling that he will reap rewards from it, and its going to be fun. Also, Stuart, a guy i went on a couple of dates with before I left has been in regular contact. I have a good feeling about this one. I don't want to get excited too soon, but i'm at least a little jittery and tingly about it!
This weekend we are in Ariano Ipricano. Tomorrow, we head to Rome and last week we spent our time on the South East coast. I have much much much prefered southern italy. the people have been incredibly friendly, the kids have been crazy and its just generally been more fun. It's made the tour a lot more enjoyable.
For some reason i am not as apprehensive about work when i return home as i should be. I am hoping to audition for a touring open air shakes production. Not only would it be cool to get the job, but its 3 months non-intensive. which would mean, i think i could live at home...and just the odd few shows a week and make enough money to live. Not to mention, with the definite income for June-September...I could just about afford to take April and May a little easier. Probably just do 3 promo days a week, and have the other 4 off. If i don't get the job...then it is back to the drawing board!

Last couple have days been spent in Rome. It kinda goes without saying, but Rome is absolutely beautiful. Really stunned by the history and sheer importance of the place. Less impressed with the tourists, and my general lagging sense of wanting to be in the country..but at least it was pretty! Have had a couple of really cool schools, which again has helped. The kids in Italy are absolutely crazy, and the show is lots of fun. It is literally riotus by the end of every show (in a good way) and trying to exit the school is always a chore. There is always hoardes of kids, fighting to get your autograph and get there picture taken with you etc. It sounds really pretentious and dickish to say it, but i can completely understand how celebs can get sick of it. Some days, it is just really tiring and you want nothing more then to have a drink of water and rehydrate, but you've got 1500 pieces of paper to sign! Having said that, celebs get paid a lot more, have chosen to be put in that position and can get one of there entourage to go get the water for them!
My little bro got into NCO (The National Childrens Orchestra.) That's really cool and i'm mega proud.
The open air shakes never e-mailed me back...but the recruitment did specify snail mail. So i guess it's to be expected. The day i get home, i need to send off my CV etc in the post. I need to not get complacent. I'm pretty much going to be needing to start earning money again straight away.
