Show today was really good. They fed, watered us with wine and coke. Collected tips off the audience, and i made quite a bit of money. All in all- a great day!

Last night;

Now don't worry- i don't think i'm losing the plot...but I think i've finally met a guy who could possibly be the one to sweep me off my feet.

Only problem is- his apparent disinterest.

I met him in a club last night. I thought he was gorgeous, so just decided i'd walk over and chat to him. I did my usual confident Zack style routine of bounding over, introducing myself, finding out a bit about him etc....apart from, it just didn't seem to work on this guy. I maintained a shred of dignity and politely after a couple of minutes, said that it was nice to meet him and i'll leave him to enjoy his evening. And so i strolled off thinking it was all over.

To my huge surprise, a couple of minutes later he walked over to me and carried on the conversation. It was a little difficult as this guy is so seriously cute, that we were constantly interrupted by people chatting him up or trying to butt in. I found it incredibly attractive, that he was never rude, impolite or boastful- he just simply accepted and thanked them for the compliment and carried on chatting to me. All good so far.

We sat with each other for a good couple of hours in the club. Extremely rare for me to chat to anyone without wanting to run around, even more so in a club environment! He was fascinating though. Very sultry, and almost difficult to get a conversation out of- but extremely intelligent underneath.

We chatted about lots of cool things, but came across one stumbling block. He's 27 and has only ever had one boyfriend, who he's just split up with. He's completely fallen for this guy and wants him back but the guy has grown disinterested easily. He's trying to get space from him but i think he's not interested in anything with anyone at the moment.

We chatted some more. I went off and danced and he just watched. And then, he said..."I'm leaving." I took his number and he said "Call me."
I very cooly, or uncooly i guess depending on which side of the coin said, "No mind games. I'm completely interested in you. The balls in your court. Give me a ring if you wanna go out.

10 minutes later i got a text saying "it was great to me, love the dancing and get home safely."

We've text a couple of times- and I think we're going to see James Bond next week together.

It's really hard to guage whether i'm about to fall in love, or whether i've made a new mate.

Either way, the tingling and the excitment is something i've not felt in a long time.

And so the story of Dene (pron: Dean!) begins.....
