I'm really touched by peoples messages on here, and in real life, that they are glad i'm posting again. I think you forget when you write these things that people actually read them. It often feels that you are writing to yourself- which would be fine too.
Anyays, spent the morning watching 1960's Doctor Who with my room mate Pete and doing very little really. Still obsessed with the Amazing Race. I love that show so much!
I have my first London paid acting job. I will be appearing in a touring pantomine production of "Treasure Island" as Captain Long John Silver around London! It's worked out really well, because I get to stay at home whilst I tour and i just have to travel each day to the venue- whether that be 5 minutes or 3 hours. I get the script tomorrow, it has to be learnt by rehearsals on the 10th (week on Friday) and I can't wait!I have to spend a week residentially in East London for the rehearsal period, then get 3 days off and after that, 6 12 hour days a week performing in venues across London until the 21st January. The pay's not fantastic- it's £240/week which will cover my rent and give me just a little over-- but hey, it's what i want to do with my life.
Tonight, i'm going to an indie film networking event, so i'm going to try and meet some peeps tonight as well!
