(no subject)
What a crazy 24 hours.
The naughtiness that I was alluding to last post, was a student prank that me, Joe and Alice pulled. In short, we decided to get into Chesh's office (our head of department) in the middle of the night, and replace all his armchairs with foliage and huge plants. In short, we turned his office into a jungle. Picture evidence to come.
Not only was this pure comedy, but we also had to hide in the drama building as we must have made a noise and were nearly caught. Luckily we were all still in our formal wear and wearing black, so we managed to fade into the background against the black wall in the studio when they switched the lights on. We escaped at about 4am feeling very pleased with ourselves.....
Unfortunately, it wasn't all perfect because it turns out I was caught. I still don't know how. CCTV? Spotted? Educated guess? I got woken up at 8am by Chesh himself demanding to speak to me.
I never got hold of him but left a message on his answerphone owning up, as he had threatened the police, and then went and fixed it all. I left a message on his desk saying "Can't believe i got caught; such an amateur!"
It did suck that we got found out, but still the naughtiness, the silliness and the general buzz was well worth it. Final Farewell had been fantastic, but prancing around Parry Williams carrying trees just topped it all off!
Then, the next day walking back home, I nearly got killed. There was an accident on Penglais hill and it narrowly missed me. I called the police, and they sent fire engines etc and thankfully no one was hurt-- but it did put the mornings silliness in some sort of perspective.
My father's picking me up and taking me out of Aber on Saturday morning so i guess i better get packing...
