Not long ago I read the book "Universidad Transhumante" from Colectivo Situaciones, an interesting group of militant intellectuals, formerly from the University of Buenos Aires. Now I'm diving into "Contrapoder", the first publication from Colectivo Situaciones. This book is all theory, an attempt to develop a working epistemology and apply it to revolutionary social movements. The authors attempt to move beyond marxism, beyond modernism and postmodernism, and create a theory of situacionalized knowledge that has practical implications. I'm digging these concepts while digging in the farm, reading books on ecological gardening practices that always encourage observation and experiment in sitio. I can't tell you how your world will evolve. Your results will vary. But I can tell you something about my world, and not just a story, but something real that communicates knowledge and has practical application.
