Elitist
Hanging out with Marta, a cool Spaniard visiting Tucuy Paj, made me realize how much I miss a certain kind of people - people who have read interesting things that I haven't read, who introduce me to new ideas and challenge my ideas, who have sophisticated concepts of gender and sexuality, who have travelled. To be honest, I don't meet a lot of people like that here. Almost none of my friends here have a university education. Only a few have left Argentina, and none South America. My friends here are great, but I miss educated, first-world radicals. And I feel like an elitist for feeling this way.
