So I really didn't do anything for Spring Break... and I loved it! I sat at home, spent time with family, and finally got a chance to relax. Not to mention that I found 36 Star Wars figures that weren't supposed to be out yet.
I did, however, decide that St. Petersburg is my most favorite place to be in the whole world. Really. Too bad I found this out just recently. There is so much local stuff to do in St. Pete. On both Saturday's during the break my mom and I went to the Saturday Morning Market in downtown. They were both such beautiful days. Cool, a nice breeze, down by the water. The market had so much local art, produce, and baked goods that it was amazing to see. There weren't too many people there, but enough to show the community really enjoys it. People bring their dogs and just walk around, sipping coffee, or eating the made to order breakfasts you can buy. I got two jugs of fresh squeezed OJ, homemade trail mix, and some loaves of freshly baked bread. I think going to the market is my new favorite thing and I will have to add it to my "things to do list" for whenever I am in St. Pete.
I wanted to go to the Dali Museum when I was there but no one would go with me. The museum was having a big celebration because it is their anniversary and they just aquired a new painting. They were letting students enter for just $.01 with ID and adults in for $5.00, but alas, no one wanted to/had the time to go.
I love to just go to Baywalk and walk around. Or go to the beach and watch the sunset. One of my most favorite things I ever did was go to Symphony in the Sand in high school. The Florida Orchestra sets up a stage on the beach and plays for a couple of hours in the evening. So beautiful being right on the beach, with the sunset, and the orchestra.
Sigh... St. Pete... lets make out.
In other news, Mock Trial starts next Friday. After work I am going to the competition, then to dinner with the team, THEN with Mr. Regan to Wal-Mart at Midnight for the welcoming of the Star Wars Episode III toys!!! So excited! Then I have to get up at like 5am on Saturday to go to Target and get their exclusive Darth Vader figure. It's going to be a very Star Wars weekend, next weekend.
Okay thats enough random stuff.
Oh yeah, I quit my job at the LEAD Office.
