Running Post
Well since I last posted, a lot has gone on. To start off with, our conference meet got cancelled because of sprinkles, and they won't reschedule it.
We did have our final meet on Monday though, and both our 7th and 8th grade teams won the meet! Nice way to finish off the season. I ran a 5:24 mile, and a 2:23 split for the 4x800. We didn't end up breaking the school record in the 4x800, though we were really close.
Last night we had the Klompan Classic, which is a 5K race in Pella. I ran my best time for a 5K ever with a 19:19, but finish 5th in my age group (14-16). My dad ran a 19:08, which is his best time since maybe college and finish first in his age group(**-**). Sarah ran it for the first time, though I'll let her tell everyone how she did.
Tulip Time starts today, I believe we might be in one parade over the weekend. Also my grandma is coming tonight to spend the weekend with us.
