i dunno what the girl is like, but is it possible that she wanted you to tell her that she should hook up with you? and that her asking was a really bad and convoluted way of her expressing her feelings for you?

i'd say don't approach her. if she's recently out of a relationship, and she's asking your advice about other guys, you'd be setting yourself up for messy complications at best and total rejection at worst. also, no making out with potentially vulnerable drunk chicks! bad plan.

I don't actually have advice, I just like the fact that Claire's and Karl's advice are totally opposite.

this does leave me in a bit of a bind considering that claire is claire. i am sorry hunny but you know its true, and karl has a habit of turning girls to the other side...so i am really confused anyone else care to offer advice?
