about a week ago i submitted a short nonfiction story for the first issue of the Big Ugly Review, and today i received an email that they want to use it pending some changes!

well, it's not *such* a big deal... it's a new magazine, not even in print (for some reason, i see print journals as being more respectable somehow than online ones), it's unpaid, yadda yadda...

but it's still pretty good news. i'm not complaining at all! :)
