(no subject)
hey livejournal,
it's been a while. life is going really well.
my brother and i just moved out. as far as i know he has been off heroin for about a month now. i'm not stupid, i know it's not over yet, but i'm happy about where he is at. we moved into this huge house in the historic downtown area. we painted it some crazy colors that make me happy to wake up to. and the best part is that it is s short walk or bike ride away from anything downtown.
i'm basically doing sound at all the bars downtown. i am everyone's back up guy and the next guy in line everywhere. this gets me into any show i want and depending on the bar(or bar tender) employee prices on drinks. awesome, right? i also work with a sound rental company and do union gigs here and there. i'm not nearly as busy as it sounds. i am patiently waiting for a house gig at the convention center. they called last week to make sure i was still interested (i interviewed a couple months ago) and supposedly in about a week i should be getting a call. still, after months, my fingers are crossed.
this beautiful woman named tina and i have been seeing each other since i moved downtown. as of now our seeing each other basically consists of riding bikes, listening to the buzzcocks and braid, drinking pbr until the sun comes up, playing guitars, finding rooftops downtown to sneak onto, and making out. needless to say, i'm having a great time. and i think a long awaited and well deserved great time.
i need to get in touch with wolfy, but i'm pretty sure i'm going to see all of you assholes in tally for the birthday party and the sprangs. i cant wait.
also, i have a confession. the reason i got on the computer was to avoid doing the dishes. i'm starting to feel guilty. see you later livejournal.
