a poem of my own design

i made up a poem today during science class! i like it. it is slightly remenicent of bob dilan. i haven thought up a name yet.

here goes:

id walk across the desert
with no shoes upon my feet
id walk a thousand miles
to forget about the streets

id climb the highest mountains
id stand upon their peaks
id go through hills and valleys
to forget about the alleys

to forget about the cities
that keep us all in chains
id tell the people to follow me
'cause there live 'el only bring 'em pain

id show them an honest way to live
where there wouldnt be any desks
and there'd be no politicians
hiding behind thier masks

with blistered hands and a broken back
i could finally take my rest
id look up to the heavens
knowing id passed the final test
