Last night me and my 'barkada' (uhmm.... nakama/best buddies/amigos...) had what we call a soba party for a friend that had a birthday last week. It was like some reunion, lol. yeah, that account is quite old. i am just planning of making that account kind of like some test/dummy page that i could experiment with codes. making it a journ for fanfics is just a recent decision that i've made. i've thought; since that account is just floating about why not make use of it, right? (hate making things go into waste)

komikon is what a shortened form of komik convention. or rather a comic convention. it's what we call our local version of it.

actually, i am doing it bit by bit over the months. i never thought that i've been this occupied with things in RL. Everyday i'll just find myself endlessly doing stuffs i needed to do and when the day ends would realize that i havent done a thing in my fanfic.

and like hell would i do those creepy scenes at twelve!

actually we have different kinds of convention. anime is just one of those. the whole year the most common convention we have are:

game con - for game enthusiasts of different platform. more common is pc games. included within these category are the separate cons that big individual gaming companies held for their own game.
sci-fi con - sci-fi movies and other nerdy stuffs.
anime con - cosplaying and anime stuffs, manga too.
manga con - kind of similar to anime con but more centered at pinoy (filipino) manga and all other independent comics. only held annually.
yaoi con - as the name states. :D

one common thing for them is they all held cosplays. sponsors like IBM have their own booths too. its really fun to spot rikku on the ice skating rink and kenshin going down the elevator whenever one con is held at the mall.
