Happy Holidays
I know, it's been a long while since I last posted. It has been raining a lot out here in Monterey. I actually enjoy the rain. At least, when it's not soaking through my clothing and coming at me sideways, trying to blow me off a roof. Yeah, that happened a couple of days ago. Even then, I still kinda liked it.
Christmas was good. We opened presents, then went to my parents house and opened some more. After that we had an awesome brunch with my faverite, cinnimon rolls and cinnimon pull aparts. Soooo good. I't seriously making my mouth water as I think of those fresh Cinnimon Rolls, hot out of the oven, and how I would cut them in half and spread a generous amount of butter over the uncarmelized portion, letting the eroma tease me for just long enough, then devouring it. Mmmm so good. I think that was my faverite part of Christmas. Yeah, my mother makes the best Cinnimon rolls.
Anyways, after that, we went and sang Carols over at the Hospital. It was cool, cause my Aunt was there playing her harp, so it was a nice accompanyment or something. Cool thing; the hospital has this really large pool the has these huge japanese goldfish like fish in them, and I was able to reach down and play my fingers over the service of the water, so at least a dozan of these fish though they would eat my fingers. They came up and nibbled a bit on my fingers, and I got to pet their backs. It was pretty neat.
New Years wasn't really anything special. Watched a couple of movies. Looking outside right now, it is raining pretty hard. I think I'm going to curl up in a leather chair and read a book and have some hot chocolate. Oh wait, thats right, it's fast sunday. I guess I'll curl up and read the Book of Mormon, and fast.
