Week 2 of NaNoWriMo and life is Lovely!

DLJ's Dave here, just swinging by once again without a real post, but a driveby posting all the same. I shan't ignore my good friends over here. Here's a quick snapshot of Dave's life.
On the wedded bliss front: I just enrolled for my insurance for next year and this year I have checked FAMILY on the form and attached a copy of our marriage certificate. Is it ridiculous that it made me tear up that in such a short period of time I went from struggling to be happy to a family man and am back to finding joy in such things as writing the word "Spouse" on a insurance form? Ahhhh, the life of a sap.
On the Holi-Dave's front: As you all know we are in full swing for the Holi-Dave's. On Thursday, I took a half day off of work and put up my my Christmas lights so I wouldn't have to do it in the icy cold. Woo-hoo! They look so nice. Simple, but nice. I didn't manage to get them put up last year, but this year we have Christmas outside too. Inside decor will not happen for another week or so. But when it does woo-hoo! I can't wait for Christmas this year, Mason is going to be old enough to start "getting" it. Weeeeeeee!
On the NaNoWriMo front: I cleared 30k yesterday and should have no problem hitting 50k in another week. As I did last year, I won't stop writing until I finish the story. I have 3 other books that I need to finish the first draft and I won't leave another hanging like that. This book is going really well though. Daniel is heading to Sweden to find the missing Norse Gods to try and recruit them to help fight against Satan and his forces at the Battle of Armageddon. In the story, Daniel is landing in Sweden right now. Speaking of that, I'd better get back to it.
