kyaa~ it's momo's first game in the nationals -- and it's a singles game! zomg!!! thank you konomi-sensei~ after making him a reserve in the match vs higa, you finally decided to give momo some limelight :P
and it's a match vs hyoutei's oshitari!! they've played before, but in a doubles game, and momo and eiji won. so i guess it's payback time for oshitari? and i thought before that oshitari only played doubles (well, gakuto said so), but if eiji can play singles, then so can oshitari, i guess. ^^
and momo seems to be showing the results of his training in the mountains! it was shown in a previous chapter how he has developed some kind of a sharp intuition, and now his accuracy seems to have developed greatly too! when he threw his towel, horio thought it would fall and ran to catch it, but it flew past him and straight to the bench of the coach. and during the game, momo is able to catch up to all of oshitari's balls and hit them near or on the line!
but i guess it's still too early to tell who will win in this game. after all, oshitari is the tensai of hyoutei. but i will really be heartbroken if momo will lose this match. T___T since it's his first game in the nationals after all, and he really trained excessively hard for this. =_= *bribes konomi-sensei* i promise, i'll finish your fanlisting before your birthday! :P
