It has been a lovely Mother's Day so far. We woke up this morning to the kids piling into the bed with the presents they had gotten me, then we had cereal and I made up some bath goodies for my mom and put them in a bag with pictures of chickens, since we are taking her this next week to pick put 5 newly-laying hens from a nearby farm. Then Adam and the kids helped me work in the garden and plant the tons of heirloom plants I found on craigslist yesterday. The gardener is the coolest guy, I can't wait to get to his sale even earlier next year to get even more awesome plants. Now we're headed to the farm to see my folks and Angus is being a butt. You know, the usual. Happy Mother's Day, everybody.
