Harry Potter and the PUBLIC HOLIDAY - 1ST JULY !!
In one of the rare occassions that I dream while asleep (cos' I dream alot while I am awake..haha), I dreamt of the most unwonted. In my dream, our dear President declared that SAF Day on 1st July be made a Public Holiday for all male! Whahahaha!! Great, except that we all have to report to the nearest community centre to recite the SAF Pledge!
THE SAF PLEDGE
WE / MEMBERS OF THE SINGAPORE ARMED FORCES / DO SOLEMNLY AND SINCERELY PLEDGE THAT / WE WILL ALWAYS BEAR TRUE FAITH AND ALLEGIANCE / TO THE PRESIDENT / AND THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE. WE WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT / AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION. WE WILL PRESERVE AND PROTECT / THE HONOUR AND INDEPENDENCE OF OUR COUNTRY / WITH OUR LIVES.
