SYNOPSIS
Top cover girl and fashion model, Jennifer Tree (Elisha Cuthbert) has it all - beauty, fame, money and power. Her face appears on covers of hundreds of magazines. At the top of her game, Jennifer is America's sweetheart. She is loved and adored and sought after. Everyone wants her. But someone out there has been watching and waiting. A combination of 'Saw' and 'Hostel' meets 'Silence of the Lambs,' 'Captivity' is a psychological thriller/horror film that shows us the true terror of the crimes of abduction and confinement that are committed every day by serial killers and psychopaths at large.

In My Own Words..
Quoting the offical synopsis, "A combination of 'Saw' and 'Hostel' meets 'Silence of the Lambs..", I call this a rip-off.
The trailers and advertising was done well with much gore and anticipation created but watching the movie made me think more than once, if I was watching SAW once again!
And it was a huge anti-climax when Daniel Gillies (screen name, Gary) finished f*cking a drugged Elisha Cuthbert (screen name, Jennifer Tree) and suddenly revealed himself as one-half of the duo mastermind of the whole kidnap. And how? He simply stood up, wore his clothes and slid this card thing into a slot in the wall and it opened up to his apartment above!
What the F*CK!
