Do we all remember that CD MAP Settlement?
The Plaintiffs filed a lawsuit alleging that the Defendants conspired to illegally raise the prices of certain prerecorded Music Products by implementing Minimum Advertised Price policies, in violation of state and federal laws. The Defendants are five music distributors and three music retailers. (A list of the Plaintiffs and Defendants can be found on Page 3 of the Notice of Proposed Settlement.) The Defendants, in agreeing to settle the lawsuit, have denied all allegations of wrongdoing.
Basically, if you ever bought a CD from a retailer between January 1, 1995 and December 22, 2000, you win, and THEIR HEAD A SPLODE. (Hmm...Yeah, I definitely didn't have a cable modem in 1995, so I'm positive I bought something.) At any rate, today I finally got my check from them-I don't even remember when the hell this thing started, but I do remember filling it out.

By the way, the song I'm listening to is outstanding. 賀子 may not "fit" in the FINAL FANTASY series, but she definitely isn't incapable of writing great music. I'm in love.
