Gaah, parental drama
So....there's that Casting Crowns concert Marianne and I are going to on the 17th for our six month anniversary. And, Mom and Dad, thinking they still can be overprotective, don't want us to drive back at night. So Marianne and I are going to drive back that night because we have that meeting at Sojourn at 9 in the morning, but Mom insists that we aren't going to. She's gone as far as to write to Cleveland State University (where the concert is held) to see if we can stay there and to write to CRU (because this is obviously a Campus Crusade event.)
Sadly, I didn't even have to tell Mom or Dad we were going to the concert...I'm pretty sure that this is even the first time I've mentioned it on LJs... Why is she so freaking adamant about this? Does she just not want to give up because she's afraid she'll lose her power over me? Does she not realize she already has?
For goodness sakes Mom, LET ME LIVE MY LIFE.
