Hi there, I found you by chance doing a random search for something, and was drawn by the fact that your icon is the spitting image of my gelding (Crabbett arabian). And then by the fact that we have a colossal number of interests in common (even the ones I don't have listed...), and your journal looks interesting. Do you mind if I add you to my friends list? I'm a 33yo semiprofessional artist/jewellerymaker/horseperson/antique collector/organic gardener with side interests in Tantra, chaos magic, sufism, cultural theory and awesome boots.:)
Your user icon looks female, but I've been fooled by that before, so I don't assume anything.
I've been a member of the OTO for 18 years and probably identified as a Thelemite for 20.
Alchemy is one of my passions. I just read something put together by an Order member here in the States, analyzing Liber LXV using alchemical symbolism. I should see if she'd allow me to pass it on.
I'm happy to answer any questions I can.
Well, anyway, even if not soulmate, too bad you're not local. You'd probably be my new best friend. ;-)
It's odd to meet someone that I have so much in common with.
The user icon an illustration I did of a character a friend and I created a while back, who's neither and both. I liked the peacock feathers.:)
Thank you. I'm a little distracted by a sculpting project and dance classes, but I'm getting back to Crowley soon. I'd be *really* interested to read the piece you mentioned on alchemy, though I should probably read Liber LXV first so I've got a grounding. But if she wouldn't mind me reading it, I'd love to. Thanks!
It struck me as pleasantly odd, too, which is why I took the step to say hi. I'm generally a little shy about just jumping into other's journals like that. But it's such an unlikely and unusual combination of interests - I have to admit I'd love to just chat like crazy in a cafe somewhere.:) At the moment though, it's just gone 6am, dawn is breaking and if I don't catch a couple of hours' sleep at least I'll be useless for the rest of the day.:) It's brilliant to meet you.:)

My mare is pretty much pure Crabbett so maybe they're related.
Nice to meet you! I will put you on my horse and magick filter. My kink filter is painfully inactive these days.
