So now, naturally, I'm watching Elfen Lied.

Which, if it really is supposed to be German for "Elf's Song", should be spelt "Elfen Leid".

It's still pronounced "Lyde" though.

Hey, I actually recognize that series! Watched about the first 5 minutes of it or so, because a guy in my Chinese class was showing it to everyone and going "like omigaaaawd" the whole time. XD
