...i had to get up at 5:45 this morning for work. thankfully, i only had to work three hours because i have a wedding to go to later today, though i really don't want to go to that either.
anyway, charles lindbergh apparently led a double-life for almost twenty years, though it sounds more literary than an actual occurrence:
"Lindbergh started a romance with Munich hat-maker Brigitte Hesshaimer in 1957 when he was 55 and she was 32."

...why they don't mention the thing about his kidnapped child, i don't know. i just thought they would, seeing as his "secret" family was german, and the guy who kidnapped lindbergh's baby was german. that's probably not enough of a parallel to mention it, but i always like reading about that incident anyway.
