Impressive word count! The important thing is to get the words down - don’t worry how good it is. It will be a lot better than you think, when you come to read it back later.

Thanks, Debra :) That’s exactly what I really want to do with NaNo-just letting the words out, and see where they lead me. i’m tired of never finishing a real novel just because I keep on editing instead of writing the word “END” after the last page. This time, too bad for the inner editor, but she’ll have to shut up. I guess that writing in another language than my native one was a good idea, too; on the firts draft, I tend to be less aware of how much a sentence or a pargaraph sucks.

You’re off to a great start, Yzabel! I can relate to the inner critic who wants to edit as you’re trying to write. Keep up the good work. :)

Now to hope that the great start can turn into a great going-on ;) I’m expecting the inner editor to show up again before the end of the week, but I have a baseball bat nearby to smack her on the head.
