Laying asleep in a large tree, Karasu blinked awake at the sharp yet ever so slight feeling of a beak against his hand. A small crow sat perched upon a smaller branch beside Karasu, giving him a inquiring look as it cocked it's head from side to side. Karasu merely smiled, placing his hands at his sides to sit up a bit straiter.
"I'm quite alright, little one. 'Tis not my own blood..." he chuckled softly as he allowed the bird to hop onto his finger. "'Tis the blood of an unforetuneate ningen... one of little intelligence..."
At that, the bird let out a light caw, as if to laugh. Karasu smiled again and leaned back against the branch behind him, one leg swinging below him over the side of the branch he was sitting upon. Still covered in blood, he didn't even seem to mind it at all... In fact, a memento from the night before seemed most appropriate.
Allowing the crow to be on it's way, he watched the bird as it's shimmering black feathers gleamed brightly in the light of the morning sun. The youkai took a quick glance around soon after the birds departure, pulling his mask from his pocket and slipping it back on his face, roughly pressing the sharp spikes back in their places on the sides of his head. This caused him to wince lightly--though he was used to it completely, it still hurt horribly at times, but the lingering thought--that burden of being an eternal slave to the Toguro brothers was long gone. He had never felt so free...
Mask now in place, he slid down from the tree and onto the ground, starting off through the trees. It was then that he decided that he -should- probably do something about his rather gruesome appearence...
Chuckling lightly to himself he mused aloud, "... Though it would be quite amusing to walk around like this..." he whispered to himself as he continued through the trees.
Perhaps there was a lake or something of the sort on the outskirts of the town... he could get cleaned up there...
