Ryosuke played the music through his earphone. He danced to the music’s rhythm along the hallway. Ryosuke wasn’t aware of his surroundings. In front of him, another student was standing there. He was reading a thick book, and wore thick glasses too.
Ryosuke fell down with his earphone detached from his phone. He picked up his ear phones before standing up to look at that person.
“That hurt. Anyway, who are you?
The other student was much taller than him; Ryosuke looked up to see the other student’s face before reading his nametag.
“Naka- Jima- Yu- To-, Nakajima Yuto!”
“What? Why are you calling my name like that?”
“Aren’t you curious about me? I just felt down. Aren’t you going to help, or even take me to the infirmary?”
“Do I need to do that? You fell down by your own mistake. Why must I help you? It’s a lesson to you. Walk properly, Baka!”
After talking rudely like that, Yuto walked away, leaving Ryosuke with a strong urge to curse him.
Ryosuke walked in a different direction from Yuto, towards his own classroom. The last bell rang a few minutes ago. He needed to get his bag first before going home.
When he arrived in his class, he found his twin, Daiki. Daiki stood in front of the class with a hand on his chest.
“Oi. Dai-chan. You were here?”
“Where did you go? I’ve been waiting here since the bell rang and couldn’t find you,”
“I fell down and had a little accident. By the way, do you know Nakajima Yuto?”
“Who’s that? I don’t know. Just get your bag. Your lovely brothercalled asking to pick him up first,”
“He is your brother too, Silly,Dai-chan.”
Ryosuke and Daiki walked in the direction of the bus stop, but curved off to fetch their younger brother first.
Yamada Ryosuke will turn 17 this year. 2nd grade in Horikoshi Gakuen. He is Yamada Daiki’s twin. Even though they are twins, their faces aren’t the same. Daiki studied in the same school, but in a different class. They are often mistaken for each other and so, the teachers separated them. But, their level of cuteness is the same. They are really cute. They have another younger brother, as cute as they are, that is 3 years younger. Yamada Yuri.
They lived in a high-class apartment. Their mom worked as an elite architect and their father is one of the police department’s elite investigators. Because of their parents’ work, Ryosuke and Daiki usually took care of Yuri.
“Hey, Dai-chan. Why should we pick up that childish boy?”
“He called that his boyfriend couldn’t escort him home. So, we must do it. And of course, Mama would never let him come back home by himself,”
“Oh my. Sometimes, Mama needs to know that his youngest son is old enough to be independent. He’s in 2nd grade of middle school, and he already had a boyfriend,”
“Eh, it looks like you don’t know your own mom well,”
“I know, I know. Let’s pick him up, before our ears turn red from hearing him spew vulgarities,”
The thing that is different between Ryosuke and his twin is a lover. Daiki found his boyfriend when he was in the 1st grade. His lover was an upperclassman. He is a a kind of yankee in the school, but he is also a vocalist of a famous band in the city. Takaki Yuya.
Yuri had also found his boyfriend even though he is only in his 2nd grade of middle school. Nakajima Ryutaro. He is from the same class as Yuri.
Ryosuke and Daiki found Yuri in front of his school. He looked at them with an annoyed expression.
“You are late by 7 minutes and 42 seconds,” Yuri said.
“What! How can you even say that to your own older brother. It’s great that we still went to pick you up,” retorted Ryosuke.
“If Ryutaro come to school today, I would not have told you to fetch me,”
“Eh. That’s enough, you two! Let’s go home already. I’m hungry. So - just - let’s go,” Daiki said while pulling on both Ryosuke’s and Yuri’s arms.
Once on the bus, they went straight to the rear where the long row of seat was. Yuri sat in the middle of his twin brothers.
“Hey, Yuri-chan. Ryutaro’s surname is Nakajima, right?”
“Hm. Is there any probs? Ryo-nii?”
“Does he have an older brother?”
“He only said that he have an older sibling. I don’t know if it’s a sister or brother. I’ve never met with his family,”
“Anyway. I heard Papa’s returning back again to his lovely lab this Saturday,” Daiki informed.
“Another case? We will be free this Saturday night, right?” Yuri asked.
“Maybe. And I think we will be free from Papa. Why ask?”
“Accompany me to the Town Festival this Saturday night? Ryutaro invited me there, but I can’t go if it’s not with you. Mama will never let me go if it’s only with Ryutaro,”
“Actually, I wanted to invite you too. Yuya’s band is playing there. And I must watch it. You too, Ryo-chan. Because you don’t have boyfriend yet, I’ll introduce you to Yuya’s band member. Who knows, they might have your type,”
“Yankee? Sorry, I’m better with geeks than yankees. And you! Both of you! Your reasons for inviting me are so that the two of you can have a lovely time with your own boyfriends, right? In the end, you will just leave me alone,”
“Don’t worry, Ryo-chan. I will tell Yuya’s band member to accompany you. Or maybe, if you manage to find a boyfriend quickly, we can have a triple date!”

On Saturday night, after getting permission from their parents, they went to the Town Festival. By the entrance, Yuri’s boyfriend, Ryutaro, was already there waiting.
“Yuri-chan. Good evening. Ah, Ryosuke-nii and Daiki-nii. Nice to meet you,”
“Ryutaro-kun. Nice to meet you too,” Daiki greeted.
“Let’s get going. The festival will begin shortly,”
“Hold on. Ryutaro-kun, can I ask something?”

“Do you have an older brother?”
“An older brother? I do. He’s even playing for today’s festival. You know the band that’s performing today? He’s the guest star. If you want to meet him, I can introduce him to you after he performs,”
Inside the festival grounds, Yuri and Ryutaro separated from the Yamada twins to be lovey dovey together. Because Yuya was busy with his band, Daiki accompanied Ryosuke to walk around the festival.
Daiki looked at his phone before tapping Ryosuke’s shoulder. Ryosuke was eating a candy that was shaped like a chicken.
“Hm? What?”
“Let’s go. Yuya’s band will be perfoming soon. Yuri had messaged me that he’s already on the stage,”
Ryosuke and Daiki went to the front of the stage. Because of their relatively small body size, they must be up close to the stage to have a clear view. They found Yuri in front of the stage too.
When Yuya’s band was performing, Daiki couldn’t stop shouting Yuya’s name. Ryosuke’s eyes, on the other hand, couldn’t look away from the drummer. He thought that he knew the person. That guy, Ryosuke thought, looked cool and hot while playing the drums. Ryosuke held his own hand and gulped saliva down when he saw that the one who was playing the drums got sexier when sweating.
“Hey, hey, Dai-chan. Do you know the boy playing on drums? Oh my, he is really cool,” Ryosuke mentioned after Yuya’s band finished their performance.
“You said that your type isn’t yankee. I forget his name. Yuya will have to introduce me to him. But I forget his name,”
“He is my older brother, Nakajima Yuto. He is one of your schoolmate actually,” Ryutaro spontaneously answered.
“WHAT!!! Are you joking? Nakajima Yuto? Impossible! The Nakajima Yuto that I know is not cool like that,”
“I’ll take you backstage if you want. You can introduce yourself to him,” Daiki invited.
“No need, Dai-chan. I don’t dare to do that,”
But Ryosuke can’t argue when his brother pulled him along to go backstage.
“Ah! Yuya! Good job!!!” greeted Daiki
“You came, Dai-chan? With your cute brother?”
“Yeah. Ah! Ryosuke wanted to meet your drummer. Can you take him here, so that Ryosuke can introduce himself,”
“Oh. Okay. Wait a minute,”
Yuya come out with Yuto behind him. Daiki smiled at him, but Ryosuke hid behind Daiki. He gripped Daiki’s sleeve.
“Ah, Yuto. Let me introduce him to you. My boyfriend, Yamada Daiki. Daiki, he is the drummer on my band, Nakajima Yuto,”
“Nice to meet you, Nakajima-san. I bring my twin here. He wants to know you. Ryo-chan. Hurry,”
Ryosuke keep his head down when he step out from behind his twin brother.
“I’m Yamada Ryosuke. Nice to meet you. Nakajima Yuto-san,”
“I think I’ve met you before,”
“We go to the same school. Horikoshi. Maybe you’ve met us in school,” Ryosuke hedged.
“But, I have a different style in school. How would you know I’m in the same school as you?”
“Your brother told me before. So, we may have accidentally met in school,”
“My brother? Ryutaro? Ah! I think I know where I met you. You were the one that fell after bumping into me, right? Ah! That stupid person!”
“WHAT?? You still call me ‘stupid’? You’re the one that’s stupid!”
After arguing, Ryosuke stomped out from the backstage. He headed right for the bus stop to go home.
Ryosuke felt ashamed. He didn’t think that the one that bumped into him a few days ago will be the same guy that he thought was really cool when playing the drums. He regretted thinking that Yuto is sexy. But he cannot deny that Yuto looked really cool when he plays the drums.
In the Next Morning
Ryosuke entered the dining room with puffy eyes.
“Ryo-chan, can’t sleep?” his mom questioned.
“Yes. I have insomnia last night,”
“Just get your breakfast and then you can continue sleeping,”
“Alright, mom,”
However, after Ryosuke finished his breakfast, he didn’t return back to sleep. He entered Daiki’s room and jump onto Daiki’s bed. Daiki lay on his bed, playing with his phone.
“What happened to you, Ryo-chan?”
“Dai-chan, what should I do?”
“Eh? Whatever you want to do? You are really strange,”
“I think I am fallin in love,” Ryosuke plainly said.
“EEEH??? YOU?? Fall in love? Ah, with Yuto, right?”
“Haaah. What should I do, Dai-chan. I’m really crazy right now. Dai-chan, help me. Give me suggestions, please,”
“Then, just confess to him. It’s easy!” Without ending his line, Daiki was whacked by his twin.
“You know, he even looked down on me last night,”
“Then try again tomorrow. I wish you luck. I have a crazy idea, but it’s up to you. Whether you want to follow it or not,”
“What? Tell me your plan?”
Daiki whispered into Ryosuke’s left ear. Ryosuke furrowed his eyebrow, unsure about Daiki’s plan.
“You think I should do that?”
“Why not? You should be willing to try anything to get that kind of guy,”
“Okay. Lets try it tomorrow,”
Monday, 08.00
“Yuto-kun! Good morning!!”
Yuto looked annoyed at Ryosuke, who was greeting him from the school’s gate. He didn’t return the greeting and walked straight to his class.
“Yuto-kun. Why don’t you reply to my greeting? I already waited- hmm, 30 minutes here,”
“Did I tell you to wait for me? I didn’t. It’s your problem. Get lost!”
“Then! I’ll come to you during lunch time. Don’t you dare run away,”
Ryosuke walked away from Yuto because they were in different classes. But, during lunch time, he went to Yuto’s class. He even sat in front of Yuto.
“What are you doing here?”
“I just want to meet you. And also, I bought lunch for you. Here,” Ryosuke declared and passed Yuto a lunch box.
“I don’t need that. Why don’t you share that with your twin. Just get lost. I don’t need you here,”
“I’ll just leave it here then. Maybe you’re shy and you don’t want to eat in front of me,”
Ryosuke left the lunch box on top of Yuto’s desk and exited Yuto’s classroom.
Yuto thought that Ryosuke might get enough of him because he was still acting coldly towards Ryosuke. But he was wrong. In the photography club that Yuto had joined, Ryosuke suddenly jumped in and waited for him until club activities was over. Ryosuke even asked a lot of questions regarding photography. He even requested Yuto to take his photo. And also, Ryosuke made Yuto his model.
Yuto was not only being cold, he had also yelled at Ryosuke when he found Ryosuke stalking him on the way home.
But Ryosuke did not change. He was still as clingy and always followed Yuto around. After receiving Yuto’s numerous cold replies and yells, Ryosuke still persisted. This moved Yuto’s heart.
“Hey, Ryo-chan. You’re still doing that? Following Yuto everywhere. I had just randomly gave you that idea about being good to him, and you changed to be his stalker,” Daiki said.
“Because I don’t know what I should do anymore. I thought that this would get more of his attention. But what I get is his cold response and yells. I don’t know what to do. I want to give up, but my love for him getting bigger and bigger.”
“Why don’t you just confess to him already? If he really returns your attention, you can chase him again. But, if he rejects you, just leave him. You deserve a good one, Ryo-chan.”
“Should I do that?”
“Just try it Ryo-chan. I don’t want my lovely twin to look like this. Cheer up, Ryo-chan.”

In the next three days, Yuto found something missing from his life. Ryosuke stopped being his stalker. And on the fourth day, Yuto found a strange envelope in his locker.
“Who would give me such a scary letter like this?” Yuto puzzled while holding a blood-red envelope.
Yuto opened the envelope and read the letter.

Good morning.
Ah, right now you’re probably missing me because I stopped being your stalker. Actually, I didn’t stop. I just paused being your stalker.
If you think I’m stalking you for fun, you got it wrong. I’m really falling in love with you. You’re that handsome with glasses on and you look like a neat student. And I’m also falling in love with the cool you when you play the drums.
I didn’t want to be your stalker at first. But, Daiki told me that I should give you attention so that you know I’m in love with you. But I think I went too far with the plan.
Hey, Yuto-kun. You know, when I’m being your stalker, many friends of mine told me that we look good together. Why don’t we go out?
I know you’re perfect. But I am average in all senses of the word. But I’m not that bad either, right? Hm, I think I’m cute when I smile. Don’t you think so too?

Before Takaki can answer Yuto, his phone rang. It’s from his boyfriend, Daiki.

“In the practice room. I have band practice today,”

“Can I?”
Takaki handed his phone over to Yuto, informing Yuto that Daiki wanted to talk with him.

“Did you meet him after school?”
“No. I didn’t meet with him. Is there any problem with Ryosuke?”
“He hasn’t returned home. I left him because he said he needed to talk to you first. If you aren’t with him, I don’t know where he is now. It’s okay, Yuto, I will tell our parents to look for Ryosuke.”
“No. I think I know where he is. Just wait a little. Don’t tell your parents because they will really worry.”

Yuto carried Ryosuke until they were out of school. The gate has been closed, so Yuto threw a kick to crush open the padlock. Once outside school, he took a taxi to bring Ryosuke back. He texted Takaki, asking for Ryosuke’s address.
Daiki opened the apartment door to find Yuto and Ryosuke completely wet. He took Yuto into Ryosuke room and told him to change into his dryer clothes while he changed Rysouke’s.
As it was night time and still raining, Daiki told Yuto to sleep beside Ryosuke. Daiki does not have the heart to shoo Yuto away, so he let Yuto sleep in Ryosuke’s room.
In the morning, Ryosuke opened his eyes and found Yuto beside him. He smiled and sighed deeply.
“Is this a dream? Why can I see you beside me?”
“Are you awake? Ryosuke-san?” Yuto open his eyes slowly.
“Is this not a dream? I only recall waiting for you on the rooftop.”
“You passed out when I came to you.”
“Hey, Yuto-kun. Answer my riddle, please.”
“You’re still asking that? After all that happened?”
“I’m curious about your answer.”
Yuto was not saying anything. He shortened their distance and landed a kiss on Ryosuke’s lips.
“That’s my answer,”

“Hold on. Ryutaro-kun, can I ask something?”
“What is it, Ryosuke-nii?”
“Do you have an older brother?”
“An older brother? I do. He’s even playing for today’s festival. You know the band that’s performing today? He’s the guest star. If you want to meet him, I can introduce him to you after he performs,”
Inside the festival grounds, Yuri and Ryutaro separated from the Yamada twins to be lovey dovey together. Because Yuya was busy with his band, Daiki accompanied Ryosuke to walk around the festival.
Daiki looked at his phone before tapping Ryosuke’s shoulder. Ryosuke was eating a candy that was shaped like a chicken.
“Hm? What?”
“Let’s go. Yuya’s band will be perfoming soon. Yuri had messaged me that he’s already on the stage,”
Ryosuke and Daiki went to the front of the stage. Because of their relatively small body size, they must be up close to the stage to have a clear view. They found Yuri in front of the stage too.
When Yuya’s band was performing, Daiki couldn’t stop shouting Yuya’s name. Ryosuke’s eyes, on the other hand, couldn’t look away from the drummer. He thought that he knew the person. That guy, Ryosuke thought, looked cool and hot while playing the drums. Ryosuke held his own hand and gulped saliva down when he saw that the one who was playing the drums got sexier when sweating.
“Hey, hey, Dai-chan. Do you know the boy playing on drums? Oh my, he is really cool,” Ryosuke mentioned after Yuya’s band finished their performance.
“You said that your type isn’t yankee. I forget his name. Yuya will have to introduce me to him. But I forget his name,”
“He is my older brother, Nakajima Yuto. He is one of your schoolmate actually,” Ryutaro spontaneously answered.
“WHAT!!! Are you joking? Nakajima Yuto? Impossible! The Nakajima Yuto that I know is not cool like that,”
“I’ll take you backstage if you want. You can introduce yourself to him,” Daiki invited.
“No need, Dai-chan. I don’t dare to do that,”
But Ryosuke can’t argue when his brother pulled him along to go backstage.
“Ah! Yuya! Good job!!!” greeted Daiki
“You came, Dai-chan? With your cute brother?”
“Yeah. Ah! Ryosuke wanted to meet your drummer. Can you take him here, so that Ryosuke can introduce himself,”
“Oh. Okay. Wait a minute,”
Yuya come out with Yuto behind him. Daiki smiled at him, but Ryosuke hid behind Daiki. He gripped Daiki’s sleeve.
“Ah, Yuto. Let me introduce him to you. My boyfriend, Yamada Daiki. Daiki, he is the drummer on my band, Nakajima Yuto,”
“Nice to meet you, Nakajima-san. I bring my twin here. He wants to know you. Ryo-chan. Hurry,”
Ryosuke keep his head down when he step out from behind his twin brother.
“I’m Yamada Ryosuke. Nice to meet you. Nakajima Yuto-san,”
“I think I’ve met you before,”
“We go to the same school. Horikoshi. Maybe you’ve met us in school,” Ryosuke hedged.
“But, I have a different style in school. How would you know I’m in the same school as you?”
“Your brother told me before. So, we may have accidentally met in school,”
“My brother? Ryutaro? Ah! I think I know where I met you. You were the one that fell after bumping into me, right? Ah! That stupid person!”
“WHAT?? You still call me ‘stupid’? You’re the one that’s stupid!”
After arguing, Ryosuke stomped out from the backstage. He headed right for the bus stop to go home.
Ryosuke felt ashamed. He didn’t think that the one that bumped into him a few days ago will be the same guy that he thought was really cool when playing the drums. He regretted thinking that Yuto is sexy. But he cannot deny that Yuto looked really cool when he plays the drums.
In the Next Morning
Ryosuke entered the dining room with puffy eyes.
“Ryo-chan, can’t sleep?” his mom questioned.
“Yes. I have insomnia last night,”
“Just get your breakfast and then you can continue sleeping,”
“Alright, mom,”
However, after Ryosuke finished his breakfast, he didn’t return back to sleep. He entered Daiki’s room and jump onto Daiki’s bed. Daiki lay on his bed, playing with his phone.
“What happened to you, Ryo-chan?”
“Dai-chan, what should I do?”
“Eh? Whatever you want to do? You are really strange,”
“I think I am fallin in love,” Ryosuke plainly said.
“EEEH??? YOU?? Fall in love? Ah, with Yuto, right?”
“Haaah. What should I do, Dai-chan. I’m really crazy right now. Dai-chan, help me. Give me suggestions, please,”
“Then, just confess to him. It’s easy!” Without ending his line, Daiki was whacked by his twin.
“You know, he even looked down on me last night,”
“Then try again tomorrow. I wish you luck. I have a crazy idea, but it’s up to you. Whether you want to follow it or not,”
“What? Tell me your plan?”
Daiki whispered into Ryosuke’s left ear. Ryosuke furrowed his eyebrow, unsure about Daiki’s plan.
“You think I should do that?”
“Why not? You should be willing to try anything to get that kind of guy,”
“Okay. Lets try it tomorrow,”
Monday, 08.00
“Yuto-kun! Good morning!!”
Yuto looked annoyed at Ryosuke, who was greeting him from the school’s gate. He didn’t return the greeting and walked straight to his class.
“Yuto-kun. Why don’t you reply to my greeting? I already waited- hmm, 30 minutes here,”
“Did I tell you to wait for me? I didn’t. It’s your problem. Get lost!”
“Then! I’ll come to you during lunch time. Don’t you dare run away,”
Ryosuke walked away from Yuto because they were in different classes. But, during lunch time, he went to Yuto’s class. He even sat in front of Yuto.
“What are you doing here?”
“I just want to meet you. And also, I bought lunch for you. Here,” Ryosuke declared and passed Yuto a lunch box.
“I don’t need that. Why don’t you share that with your twin. Just get lost. I don’t need you here,”
“I’ll just leave it here then. Maybe you’re shy and you don’t want to eat in front of me,”
Ryosuke left the lunch box on top of Yuto’s desk and exited Yuto’s classroom.
Yuto thought that Ryosuke might get enough of him because he was still acting coldly towards Ryosuke. But he was wrong. In the photography club that Yuto had joined, Ryosuke suddenly jumped in and waited for him until club activities was over. Ryosuke even asked a lot of questions regarding photography. He even requested Yuto to take his photo. And also, Ryosuke made Yuto his model.
Yuto was not only being cold, he had also yelled at Ryosuke when he found Ryosuke stalking him on the way home.
But Ryosuke did not change. He was still as clingy and always followed Yuto around. After receiving Yuto’s numerous cold replies and yells, Ryosuke still persisted. This moved Yuto’s heart.
“Hey, Ryo-chan. You’re still doing that? Following Yuto everywhere. I had just randomly gave you that idea about being good to him, and you changed to be his stalker,” Daiki said.
“Because I don’t know what I should do anymore. I thought that this would get more of his attention. But what I get is his cold response and yells. I don’t know what to do. I want to give up, but my love for him getting bigger and bigger.”
“Why don’t you just confess to him already? If he really returns your attention, you can chase him again. But, if he rejects you, just leave him. You deserve a good one, Ryo-chan.”
“Should I do that?”
“Just try it Ryo-chan. I don’t want my lovely twin to look like this. Cheer up, Ryo-chan.”
“Thanks, Dai-chan. You’ll always be the best brother to me,”
In the next three days, Yuto found something missing from his life. Ryosuke stopped being his stalker. And on the fourth day, Yuto found a strange envelope in his locker.
“Who would give me such a scary letter like this?” Yuto puzzled while holding a blood-red envelope.
Yuto opened the envelope and read the letter.
Yuto-Kun
Good morning.
Ah, right now you’re probably missing me because I stopped being your stalker. Actually, I didn’t stop. I just paused being your stalker.
If you think I’m stalking you for fun, you got it wrong. I’m really falling in love with you. You’re that handsome with glasses on and you look like a neat student. And I’m also falling in love with the cool you when you play the drums.
I didn’t want to be your stalker at first. But, Daiki told me that I should give you attention so that you know I’m in love with you. But I think I went too far with the plan.
Hey, Yuto-kun. You know, when I’m being your stalker, many friends of mine told me that we look good together. Why don’t we go out?
I know you’re perfect. But I am average in all senses of the word. But I’m not that bad either, right? Hm, I think I’m cute when I smile. Don’t you think so too?
I will stop being your stalker if you can answer my riddle. It’s a simple riddle. You just need to find out what I mean and answer the question.

Ryosuke Yamada
Yuto folded the letter and went for band practice. He doesn’t care about Ryosuke’s letter although he knew the answer to Ryosuke’s riddle.
It has been two hours since Yuto’s rehearsal with Takaki’s band. He took his bottle and gulped down water to overcome his thirst.
“Yuto-kun, when will you stop practicing?”
“Hm. Maybe after a few more songs. I need to match up with you guys. Is there any issue, Takaki-kun?”
“Nope. I’m happy that you want to practice more. But I think you’ll have to stay here longer. It’s raining heavily outside. I think it will be a typhoon if the weather doesn’t calm down.”
“If it’ll become a typhoon, I’ll just sleep here. I don’t mind.”
Before Takaki can answer Yuto, his phone rang. It’s from his boyfriend, Daiki.
“What’s up, Dai-chan?”
“Yuya, where are you?”
“In the practice room. I have band practice today,”
“Yuya. Is Yuto there?”
“Yeah. Do you want to talk with him?”
“Can I?”
Takaki handed his phone over to Yuto, informing Yuto that Daiki wanted to talk with him.
“Yuto here,”
“Yuto-kun? Is Ryosuke with you?”
“Ryosuke? No. I’m not with him.”
“Did you meet him after school?”
“No. I didn’t meet with him. Is there any problem with Ryosuke?”
“He hasn’t returned home. I left him because he said he needed to talk to you first. If you aren’t with him, I don’t know where he is now. It’s okay, Yuto, I will tell our parents to look for Ryosuke.”
“No. I think I know where he is. Just wait a little. Don’t tell your parents because they will really worry.”
“Thanks, Yuto-kun,”
Yuto cut the line and handed Takaki’s phone back. He took his jacket and went out.
“Yuto, be careful!”
“I may not return. Just leave my bag in here. I will take it back tomorrow.”
Yuto jumped over the school gate that has already closed. He dashed to the rooftop. He is sure that Ryosuke will still be there. Yuto’s clothes are already soaked from the rain. But he does not care.
“Ryosuke!”
Yuto found Ryosuke sitting on the bench in the rooftop. His clothes are completely wet.
“Finally, you come, Yuto-kun,”
“Why are you here! Daiki has been very worried about you. Go back home!”
“I will go back home after you answer my question. You came here, so you must have solved my riddle. You need 2 hours to understand my riddle? You are so slow.”
Before Yuto can answer Ryosuke, Ryosuke fell, passed out. It is lucky that Yuto held onto him before Ryosuke’s body touched the concrete floor.
Yuto carried Ryosuke until they were out of school. The gate has been closed, so Yuto threw a kick to crush open the padlock. Once outside school, he took a taxi to bring Ryosuke back. He texted Takaki, asking for Ryosuke’s address.
Daiki opened the apartment door to find Yuto and Ryosuke completely wet. He took Yuto into Ryosuke room and told him to change into his dryer clothes while he changed Rysouke’s.
As it was night time and still raining, Daiki told Yuto to sleep beside Ryosuke. Daiki does not have the heart to shoo Yuto away, so he let Yuto sleep in Ryosuke’s room.
In the morning, Ryosuke opened his eyes and found Yuto beside him. He smiled and sighed deeply.
“Is this a dream? Why can I see you beside me?”
“Are you awake? Ryosuke-san?” Yuto open his eyes slowly.
“Is this not a dream? I only recall waiting for you on the rooftop.”
“You passed out when I came to you.”
“Hey, Yuto-kun. Answer my riddle, please.”
“You’re still asking that? After all that happened?”
“I’m curious about your answer.”
Yuto was not saying anything. He shortened their distance and landed a kiss on Ryosuke’s lips.
“That’s my answer,”
“Yuto-kun, really?”
“But I want you to stop being my stalker. I have a place beside me, why don’t you stand beside me and walk together with me. Don’t you ever dare to hide behind. Your place is not behind me, but beside me, understand?”
“I understand! Thanks, Yuto. But when did you start falling for me?”
“From the first time you acted as my stalker.”
“Then, why do you act so coldly towards me? If you love me then, why not show it?”
“I just wanted to know how far you would go to show your love for me.”
“Ah, is that so. By the way, today’s our Day One.”
“It’s First Day, Ryo-chan. Not Day One. Did you really score badly for English? Hahaha.”
“Just shut up. I like ‘Day One’ actually.”
Yuto pinched Ryosuke’s nose, making the latter giggle.
They don’t know that Ryosuke’s room was ajar. Through that small gap, Daiki saw it all. After making sure that his twin brother was happy, he closed the door.
