Crown Tourney
It has been a couple of days now since the latest Ealdomerean Crown Tourney. It was the first time I stood as consort. I have been taking time to pause and reflect on the experience.
- I enjoyed watching, not only my consort, but others take the list, give 110% of themselves and truly enjoy what they were doing. This was inspiring. Especially since I’ve developed a better appreciation for armored combat having authorized.
- I was surprised and humbled by kind conversations that I had with the people around me. Some conversations were with people who don’t usually talk with me. I hope I get the pleasant opportunity to chat with them again. Maybe the past encounters were just me being shy.
- I was extremely pleased with my personal reaction in end results of the tournament. I had been questioning and doubting myself as to how I would react either way. The most important fact for me was that I got to share in Quilliam’s achievement. I’m very proud of my good friend.
As to other thoughts, I honestly wish Nigel and Adrielle could have taken the thrones. I sincerely wish they continue to try. They appear to be strong as a team and couple. It is inspiring to watch them together.
It was also a delight to see Bess receive her AOA, especially when Duke Aaron escorted her into court.
