Oh I have just gotten home from one of the scariest nights of my life. Well it was a friend of mine's party last night. It was a pretty good night, and it was good to see my friend who's dad died had made his first outting since the car accident.
I've been friends with him for ages and he's an ex of mine. We were talking when one of the girls from my old group who he's completely obsessed with at the moment was bagging the crap out of him despite being overly nice to him on the outside. Well, he just ran off out of the party and across the road because he was so upset.
My friend Rob and I ran after him to stop him but found that he had already been stopped by a group of rowdy, uninvited boys who were throwing bottles. Apparently one of the bottles had hit Dylan on the arm as he was running away and he was going off at them for making trouble at a party they weren't invited to.
The obvious ring-leader of that group was getting pretty pissed off and when Dylan demanded that he leave the area he walked over to a broken fence and pulled off one of the posts that was falling off. He stood at the broken fence and said: "You can't make me f**kin do anything" and he ran up to Dylan and hit him over the head with the plank of wood. Dylan fell straight onto the ground and I ran up to him. He was bleeding so badly and wouldn't come to. His body was so limp too. After you see these action movies where people get hit and they just keep fighting you expect people to be semi okay... but he was certainly not okay.
I'm still pretty shaken about it... but in the end the cops came, the ambulance came, and we went to the hospital where he eventually came to. He didn't remember anything. He was mainly concerned about the fact that he had gotten blood on his Ralph Lauren Polo... which is funny now but the way he was talking when he first came to was quite scary... he kept asking the same questions... and couldn't stop shifting around... I got home at about 4 but I couldn't sleep... so I'm dead tired.
That's my whine for today... but it was a pretty terrible night.
