Teary-eyed joy at news that pregnant transguy Thomas Beatie just had a healthy little girl, rapidly followed by rage at the comments on this article.
Not ONE positive comment. Not one person who wanted to offer congratulations. I've commented, but there's obviously a lag and it hasn't showed up yet, while two other negative comments have.
Please go forth and comment, people. I suggest we don't engage with the transphobes but simply blitz the article with joy and congratulations, so that if and when the new parents get to it, they won't be met with wall-to-wall hate.
Edit: Just called the news department and told them to keep an eye on the comments on there. :)
