This is a favour to Jake's little sister, who I think rightly feels I owe her one at the moment! Please send a quick email to save her favourite TV show from being taken off the air - no need to say anything in the email, just the subject line. I quote:

One Tree Hill Needs to be SAVED!!! :)

Please email tvdiva@eonline.com and put in the Subject line "ONE TREE HILL"

THANKS!!!!
Jen!

:) And moving on from that... wow, I managed to live in purplepiano and gnimmel's house for a week without trashing it! I think this may be a first for me :) They came home to find house clean and cat in good repair :) and are really pleased with me and coming to Cambridge at the weekend to pat the dog and give me money :)

I've made contact with Catriona and Casby again, or they've made contact with me more like, which is a sixteen-ton weight off my mind, and I'm going to a wedding ceilidh at the weekend, which should be a nice chance to catch up with various other friends I haven't seen in ages.

I'm so, so tempted to dye my hair blue at the moment. Just temporarily until I start looking for a respectable job. Sally unexpectedly thrust some packets of unnaturally coloured hair dye at me and said she wanted to get rid of them... (How many landladies would willingly give their tenants the wherewithal to turn the bathroom blue?)

I lost the Estonia job a few weeks ago (after almost a year, so really pleased with myself for keeping it that long, and it was partly a location problem rather than just firing for incompetence, and David said I'd worked really well for most of the time and thanked me for my help.) I'm currently doing (er, trying to do...) some work informally for Ed (WINOLJ), but after that's done I need a job. I'm considering jobs in London as well as Cambridge, since I have friends in both places, and after contemplating moving to America for all that time, moving one hour down the train line to London seems like nothing.

OMG, just realised if I do this job well I can probably get a glowing reference from Ed. I think he'd be delighted to do that for me. Ha ha, reference fear is at an end!

My mother is buying me a parrot-headed umbrella. This is such big news to me. How often do you get something you've wanted for practically your entire life?

I'm finally reading 'Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell', can't believe I haven't read it before, I love it.

I'm still somewhat fearing my friendslist backlog. I will get to reading my friendslist again, but at the moment, please assume I don't know jack and inform me of anything I need to know. Sorry about that. <3
