Long have I been away from the realm of fanfiction and fandom, but it seems I've been drawn back in by my oldest of fan-obsessions: Star Trek. I wrote my first fanfic back when I was 6, before I even knew what it meant, before I could even write cursive. I was a TNG child, my mother watched it, my father was a scifi man and as a product of the two, I loved it. Wrote a story about Crusher and Picard, Diana and Riker. It was called the Blue Elephant and it was awesomely horrible.

But I am back, and with a vengeance. I'm taking on a prompt table from the couple that always should have been in the ST universe. Lo and behold, J.J., Orci and Kurtzman have won me over again. Thanks boys, I go play now.
